About Me
I am a Minnesota-based wedding painter, and I am available for live wedding painting and commissioned studio paintings from a photo or from an idea that you have. I can easily paint live at Minnesota and Wisconsin weddings, and am happy to travel anywhere to paint live at yours - be it another state or another country completely.
Aside from being an artist, I am a teacher (middle school band and orchetra), musician, wife, and my all-time favorite role, a mom to the most fun little kid on the planet. I love baking, game nights, traveling, hiking, and reading fantasy novels. I may or may not rely on fantasy novels for an escape from the world and a coping mechanism to get me through reality. I love love love Brandon Sanderson, and TJ Klune is right up there, as well. I recently fell hard for ACOTAR and pretty much would always rather be in the Night Court.
My husband and I got married in a small town in Tuscany in 2018 (because why not?!), and we can’t wait to show our son the world. A black lab and two cats complete our happy little family.
I am extremely LGBTQ+ friendly, and welcome clients and couples from all races, ethnicities, religions, and sexual orientations. You are safe with me, and I am here to celebrate your joy alongside you!
Why you want me as your artist:
As a live wedding painter, my style provides you the best of both worlds: a live painting with a studio finish. I will paint live at your wedding for 6-8 hours, and then I will take your painting home and spend another 8-20 hours adding details, making corrections, and finishing it up. Your painting isn’t done until I’m genuinely proud of it and can’t wait to show you.
If you are a Midwest couple looking for a live painter, I can easily get to you to paint at your wedding. If you are getting married in another state or country, I love to travel and am an experienced traveler. If I fly in for your wedding, I am not messing around. I will fly in early to make sure your wedding painting is not at the mercy of a cancelled flight. You aren’t just another client - your wedding matters, and it would take my world ending for me to miss it. I am happy to navigate your wedding in any state or country. (I speak conversational Italian and can navigate the Italian train system like a pro, hint hint, wink wink)
If you are looking for a studio commissioned painting, be it from a photo or something we dreamed up together, I am here to put your vision on canvas in a way that matches your budget. We can do acrylic paints, we can do oils, we can do just about any canvas size you want. I can match or imitate any style you want, or make any modifications you want. I can show you progress pictures along the way, or completely surprise you - I want to work with you and deliver art that is meaningful to you and exactly what you want it to be.
Some other things I’d like you to know.
I am based in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul area), but can easily serve all of Minnesota and Wisconsin to paint live at weddings. I would love to paint weddings up on the North Shore, Duluth, Grand Marais, etc. I would love to paint at your Northern Minnesota wedding. If you are getting married in another state, or even another country, I am definitely interested in traveling to wherever you want me! I love to travel! (Did I mention that my own wedding was in Tuscany?)
I support all religions, ethnicities, cultures, races, and sexual orientations. If you are a good person, I am happy to work with you. If you are racist, homophobic, antisemitic, etc, we won’t be a good fit and I encourage you to look elsewhere.
