About Me
I am a Minnesota-based wedding painter, and I am available for live wedding painting and painting from a photo. Aside from being an artist, I am a teacher, musician, a wife, and my favorite role, a mom. I love baking, game nights, traveling, and reading fantasy novels, especially Brandon Sanderson and TJ Klune. My husband and I got married in a small town in Tuscany in 2018, and we can’t wait to show our son the world. A black lab and two cats complete our happy little family.
What I can offer you:
We’ll talk before signing a contract so we all know exactly what you’re looking for and ensure we are on the same page for what I can produce for you. Art is personal, and I would love to know more about you as individuals, and as a couple. On your wedding day, I’ll show up early to begin painting the background. I can paint a scene from your ceremony or your reception, and I will take photos and use them as references as I go. Throughout the reception, I can position myself so your guests can see the work in progress, or I can hide discreetly in a corner if that’s what you’d prefer. I’m friendly and personable, and I’ll be another smiling face throughout your day. I would love for your guests to come say hi! If your DJ plays any 90’s boy bands, I can’t promise you won’t hear me singing, and I will definitely be dancing.
What I truly love most is painting from a photo from your photographer. I am able to modify elements of one photo, or even combine aspects of multiple photos, such as adding or removing people, equipment, etc. If this is what you’re looking for, see my options for custom oil paintings from photos. Some other things I’d like you to know.
I am based in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul area), but can easily serve all of Minnesota and Wisconsin to paint live at weddings. I would love to paint weddings up on the North Shore, Duluth, Grand Marais, etc. I love to paint at your Northern Minnesota wedding. I love to travel and am very open to it. (Did I mention that my own wedding was in Tuscany?)
I support all religions, ethnicities, cultures, races, and sexual orientations. If you are a good person, I am happy to work with you. If you are racist, homophobic, antisemitic, etc, we won’t be a good fit and I encourage you to look elsewhere.
